This is another interview in my series of talks about writing. This one is with Irish author, Maria Hoey. In it, we delve into her writing journey to publication, and the difficulties, and joys of writing characters that are nothing like we are!
Well, maybe a little like ourselves.
Isn’t this just the best-author photo?
I’ve also learned from Maria (through this photo) to get a professional portrait taken and use it. Once you start getting published various places, agents, and publishers will ask for a high-resolution good photo of you. It’s great to have one you actually like.
Mine is photoshopped but I don’t care, because I can send it out and not mind how I look.
Before you go have a peek at Maria Hoey's books
